I miss you, New York City.
I really miss everything about you. Your noise, your crowded streets and your people.
There are so many things to do and see in the Big Apple that I would need more than an entire website to write about you.
GRAND CENTRAL TERMINAL
The Grand Central Terminal (89 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017) is the most awesome place in all New York.
It’s huge, old (but not too old) and crowded all the time.
You can really find all the breeds of the world into the Gran Central Terminal, it’s a magic place where everyone are in a hurry and are trying to catch a train.
It’s definitely my favorite place in New York.
Central Park is hard to describe: it’s huge, green, healthy and is nice walking in one of the many streets that pass through it.
Once you are into it, you can feel the breath of the wind between the trees and you can really forget that you’re in New York City.
I love hamburgers, fried fries and everything that is fat and tasty.
In NYC every five foot there’s a truck that sells hamburgers, donuts, hot coffee and everything that you can eat when you’re walking along the streets.
I know that could sound strange that Starbucks is one of the reason of my love for New York but I can’t change my mind.
Starbucks isn’t only a coffee, it’s something more … it’s an experience and New York can increase that “coffee experience” to a whole new level.
It’s strange, I know, but I’m still stuck with the image of Anna Wintour with her Starbucks coffee or with the famous Central Perk from Friends.
THE MTA SUBWAY
The New York Subway is a city underground.
Really the MTA is an another world under the Big Apple: there are people, habits and stuff that you can barely image.
It’s like a big car that everyone share without talking to each other … and it’s pretty amazing seeing so many different people that share, for only ten or twenty minutes, a little peace of a train.
THE EMPIRE STATE BUILDING
I know that Empire State Building could sound too “touristy” as a “place that I love in New York” but is the true.
It’s always near you and if you get lost you can simple raise the head and search for the big and blinding Empire State: it will drives you everywhere.
THE APPLE STORE
I love the Apple Store on the Fifth and you could think that I’m an Apple-maniac (and it’s true) but my passion for the bitten apple is too big to be described in a post.
TV SHOWS & MOVIES
Last but not least : New York is the perfect place for the set of a TV show or for a movie because it’s big, chaotic and always in hurry.
And if you can make it here, you can make it anywhere.
